Delete My Data

Exercise your right to data deletion under GDPR Article 17 and CCPA Section 1798.105. We make it easy to remove your data from our systems.

Data We Hold

When you use SmarterTariff, we may store the following data linked to your account:

  • Account email address and profile information
  • Cached accessibility audit reports (linked by domain, 30-day TTL)
  • Subscription status and Stripe customer reference (no card data)
  • Consent records (ToS acceptance, data processing agreement)

Request Data Deletion

To delete your data, you can either sign in to your account for instant self-service deletion, or submit an email request below.

We'll process your deletion request within 30 days as required by GDPR/CCPA. You'll receive a confirmation email when complete.

Authorized agents (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents may designate an authorized agent (an attorney, family member, or other representative) to submit access, deletion, or correction requests on their behalf. To act as an authorized agent, please email chris@smartertariff.com with the subject “CCPA Authorized Agent Request” and include:

  • Written authorization signed by the consumer (power of attorney or notarized signature for sensitive requests)
  • The consumer’s full name and the email address associated with their account
  • Your name, organization (if applicable), and contact information
  • The specific right(s) being exercised (access, deletion, correction, opt-out, limit-use of sensitive PI)

We may contact the consumer directly to confirm the authorization before processing the request. Response timeline is the same 45-day SLA documented in our Privacy Policy (extendable once by 45 days for complex requests).
